URUMQI (China) - RIOTS and street battles killed at least 156 people in China's western Xinjiang province, state media said on Tuesday, and injured 828 others in the deadliest ethnic unrest to hit the region in decades. Officials said the death toll was expected to rise.
Police sealed off streets in parts of the provincial capital, Urumqi, after discord between ethnic Muslim Uighur people and China's Han majority erupted into violence. Witnesses reported a new, smaller protest on Monday in a second city, Kashgar.
The unrest is another troubling sign for Beijing at how rapid economic development has failed to stem - and even has exacerbated - resentment among ethnic minorities, who say they are being marginalised in their homelands as Chinese migrants pour in.
Columns of paramilitary police in green camouflage uniforms, helmets and flak vests marched on Monday around Urumqi's main bazaar - a largely Uighur neighborhood - carrying batons and shields. Mobile phone service and the social networking site Twitter were blocked, and Internet links were also cut or slowed down.
Rioters on Sunday overturned barricades, attacked vehicles and houses, and clashed violently with police in Urumqi, according to media and witness accounts.
State television aired footage showing protesters attacking and kicking people on the ground. Other people, who appeared to be Han Chinese, sat dazed with blood pouring down their faces.
In a one-sentence reported released early on Tuesday, the official Xinhua News Agency said 156 people had died.
There was little immediate explanation for the high death toll and officials did not say how many of the victims were Han or Uighurs. Xinhua cited Xinjiang's police chief Liu Yaohua as saying that the death toll was expected to rise.
The government accused a Uighur businesswoman living in the US of inciting the riots through phone calls and 'propaganda' spread on Web sites.
Witnesses and state media said the violence started only after police arrived to disperse a peaceful protest demanding justice for two Uighurs killed last month during a fight with Han co-workers at a factory in southern China.
Thousands of people took part in Sunday's disturbance, unlike recent sporadic separatist violence carried out by small groups in Xinjiang.
Tensions between Uighurs and the majority Han Chinese are never far from the surface in Xinjiang, a sprawling region rich in minerals and oil that borders eight Central Asian nations. -- AP

Quickly use your handbag or any shopping bags in hand to cover your whole front body (in case), Next, escape from the scene as soon as possible. This is to save a situation from landing yourself into the hands of evil.
Recently, many girls and housewives' naked photo were vastly distributed in the internet websites without them knowing. Perverts intentionally move around places where ladies usually frequent and took their nude shots. Imagine, one day your male friend come to you and tell you, he saw your naked pose in the web, how are you to face the situation????? Please take this as something very important and don't take this lightly in order to save a shameful and distress situation.....!!!!!!

Sushi Lovers Beware of Sushi Worms..
Happened to see this article when browsing through my bf email.
Sushi is one of my favorite food but OMG look at the pictures below
its so disgusting... ahhh.. I'll never eat sushi again...
SUSHI & SASHIMI
This is a true case of a Japanese man from
Gifu prefecture who complains incessantly
about a persistent headache.
Mr. Shota Fujiwara loves his sashimi and sushi very much to
the extent of
trying to get them as 'alive and fresh' as can be
for his insatiable appetite.
He develops a severe headache for the past 3 years and has
put cut off as
migraine and stress from work.
It was only when he started losing his psychomotor skills
that he seeks medical
help.
A brain scan and x-ray reveals little however.
But upon closer inspection by a specialist on his scalp,
the doctor noticed
small movements beneath his skin.
It was then that the doctor did a local anesthetic to his
scalp and discovered
the cause when tiny worms crawled out.
A major surgery was thus immediately called for and the
extent of the
infestation was horrific.

only a movie could
Remember, tapeworms and roundworms and their eggs which
abound in all fishes
fresh or salt fishes can only be killed by thorough cooking
and/or freezing the
fish to between 4 deg C - 0 deg C.
The eggs of these parasites can only be killed if it is
cooked or frozen to the
said temperatures for a week or more.
Think twice about that raw dish next time...or you might
get a headache.
