Hot!

Beautiful smile. Gorgeous face. This girl who was already turning heads at the first auditions continues to blossom under the care of stylists. Cute dimples. Nuff' said. When you can't beat them, join them! After getting his last few strands of hair shaved off, this guy whom host Yifeng kept calling ‘uncle’ ended up looking cute as a button! Donald Trump, are you taking notes? This dead-ringer for Leon Lai knows how to work his charm in front of the cameras. But he has to learn to rein it in. Don't break the lens, we say.

Not so hot

By the time you read this, she would have her long tresses chopped off. Afterall, this is hairstylist Addy we are talking about. If he ain't like it, you bet it's not good enough for us either. Contestant Chris Goh would have looked a lot better without a bad eyebrow trim which formed the Chinese character ‘ba’ whenever he frowned. Her low husky voice led one judge to praise her pipes as ‘the rarest find in a hundred years’. Good song choices will be key to getting past her limited range.

As the BIG DAY beckons, the Top 40 contestants will be gearing up to fight it out for the Top 24 spots! Can't wait to catch the TV telecast in November? Come on down to Suntec City Tropics Atrium on Sunday, 8 October to witness the birth of the Top 24 finalists!
